On behalf of The Center for the Women of New York, I want to extend our sincere gratitude to Empire Kitchen for their ongoing generosity and support of our Taste of the World at Fort Totten gala. Once again, they donated their delicious vegetable lo mein, which has become a beloved favorite at our event. The lo mein was perfectly prepared—tender noodles tossed with fresh, crisp vegetables in a savory sauce that was both light and full of flavor. It’s always a crowd-pleaser, and this year was no exception. Our guests eagerly enjoyed every bite, and many commented on how much they look forward to Empire Kitchen’s contribution each year. Great Chinese restaurant. Fresh and delicious.

Not your average Chinese take out. Been here literally hundreds of times over the years. The food portioning is good for the price, and the taste is great and always looked forward to. Unfussy and simple, they even allow custom orders if you ask. The owners themselves live literally around the corner. Also check out the cool graffiti their landlord hires people to do every year on the outside wall.

Gave them another chance after they screwed up previous order in the past. Ordered vegetable dumplings…it was missing dipping sauce. Specifically asked for mustard and chop sticks. They forgot?!?! Called back and she apologized. That doesn’t help!!! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great Chinese takeout in the neighborhood. Always fresh never have an issue with the food. Young Chow fried rice is the best here. Boneless spare ribs fantastic. If you like noodle dishes get the house chow mein fun or alo Singapore chow mai fun.
