Empress Chinese Restaurant

The worst food I have ever seen. 100% trying to kill people. When you call to tell them that their oil probably hasn’t been changed since Christmas of 1987 they hang up on you because they know. Awful. Disgraceful and stomach turning. Not pictured is when I busted the egg rolls open out of curiosity and found mold. Never again I’d rather soak my hands in jalapeño juice and rub my eyes than eat this.

I decided to try a restaurant that I never tried, but was extremely disappointed. The eggroll and shrimp roll were obviously old, the boneless spareribs were dry and inedible, the vegetable dumplings were very doughy. The steamed chicken and broccoli was good enough to eat and it was a generous portion, but I will not be returning.

So far the only place that uses oil as their base for the beef and broccoli sauce 4.8/5. Everywhere else so far uses heavy corn starch. Shrimp fried rice had a great savory flavor to it 5/5

Fast service. Excellent food. Location is kind of a hidden secret... to right of main building. Lots to choose from. Huge portions. Tons of shrimp in the rice. Delicious shrimp rolls. Definitely give them a call. Honorable and caring. My first choice. I shall return. PS. They often give you free sodas.

I work in the complex and regularly buy from here! The food is delicious and always fresh! I have high expectations with food and the Empress exceeds them every time.
