We walked by and instantly had to stop! The window display of baklava is absolutely gorgeous and brought us right inside. We grabbed two pieces to go - the traditional and the pistachio, and I thought they were both good! They were clearly fresh and well-made. Even though my fiancé wasn't a fan, the quality of the display and the desserts made a lasting impression. We were thrilled to see they offer Turkish coffee, which we have always wanted to try. We will definitely be back soon for the coffee! They also had a beautiful selection of homemade candies that looked really good, and while candy isn't my favorite thing, I'm sure others would adore them. A charming spot that we look forward to visiting again!
Delicious Turkish delights! While visiting Charleston, I decided to take a quick look at this store. The staff are very attentive and will give you many samples to try. I came back to the store twice within 2 days just to buy more as it was so good! The plastic box I got was around $27 as they charge $40 per pound.
We came across this amazing place. We got samples of different candy logs. Everything we sampled we bought. Ali was a very kind man and we really appreciate it. I believe my absolute favorite was the Peanut Butter Turkish Delight, absolutely delicious. They are Never to be refrigerated. They last 3 months, but they really won't, because I will eat them , lol. Ali asked if we would like for him to slice them up, very kind, Thank you!
Adorable Turkish cafe! We saw the display of candies and pastries, and we HAD to pop in! What a delightful addition to Chas! We had the pistachio and walnut baklavas, along with a variety of Turkish delight. AMAZINGLY delish and fresh! The shop hostess was so helpful- gluten free and vegan varieties are plentiful! Friendly staff, cute/romantic atmosphere, and top notch sweets. We WILL be back! Can’t wait to try the teas and coffees.
What a great addition to Charleston! So authentic, they make the Turkish coffee traditionally, and the pastries are absolutely delicious! If you’re lucky, the owner will read your Turkish coffee grounds for you at the end of your cup. Lovely place!
