Erika’s Sweet Haus

Cute, little shop. Everything is priced so fair and the man that works there is so nice! The ‘Italian sodas’ were yummy and lots of fun flavors to pick. He lets you taste the German cheesecake. Pretzels are made to order so be patient and allow yourself time. This place is inside the flea market.

We found this place by accident and fell in love. The kids played across the street at Replay and we sat outside the sweet shop with our fudge and water or coffee. And enjoy the treats and sites. I tried some walnuts and enjoyed them. You can sample EVERY NUT! It is sooo cool! I got some fudge and savored every bite. A really nice friendly hidden treasure.

They really should update their hours on Google to be accurate and representative of the hours Erika's is open. I absolutely LOVE supporting small businesses and also wanted to see what Erika's has to offer/try some various chocolates (German chocolate cake) and nuts, etc. Unfortunately, despite first checking online to confirm they were open before making the drive, today marks the THIRD time I have visited Erika's and (Surprise!) they have been completely closed. Not only do they have VERY limited hours (a few days a week for a few hours a day, also supposedly not open on the weekends), but their posted hours online clearly aren't accurate either. I dare you to walk by this shop and not stop in! The smell that emanates out to the door is amazing. Once inside you will be presented with dozens of flavor choices of roasted almonds, pecans and walnuts. You can even sample flavors! The store owners dad was working when I went in. He is such a sweet and jovial kind man. Enjoy!

We went yesterday and met Erika’s dad! Such a friendly, family oriented place and the sweets and pretzels were awesome as well. Five gold stars.
