Imagine if you will, an island made of cornbread. And on that island of cornbread, grows a forest of lush turnip greens. Swarms of pink katydids made of ham, flutter across the lush turnip greens landscape. Surrounding the cornbread island, is a sea. In that sea, pink dolphins made of ham frolic, while schools of black-eyed peas swim in flowing unison. The devils of mayhem; diced onions and sliced jalapenos patiently wait and watch over the serene harmony, prepared to bring turmoil at the first opportunity. That was a satirical description of a meal called the “Soul Bowl.” It can be found on Eunice’s menu under Local Favorites. Bless her heart for coming up with this concoction! If you know what I mean. A filling bowl of food. My wife regretted it. Check the picture. Meanwhile back at
This is one of the most unassuming restaurants I've ever been to. It was absolutely delicious. The service was incredibly quick even with a full restaurant. The staff was nice and friendly. The decor is welcoming and comfortable. The food was a delight and good southern cooking.
We eat here after we shop at Sams this is our first time eating Breakfast i can tell u we will come again the food was AMAZING
When i came in with my daughter i was not greeted by staff, had to get a high chair and find a table. The waitress was not really friendly shorter lady with brown hair and glasses pony tail. The other waitress was nice but i was waited on by the shorter waitress. Food took about 20 minutes to come out. Waitress did not come see if we needed anything after she gave us the food. So far the bad experience i had was with the way the waitress treated us. Was not even given a ticket to bring up to register. Service has to be better than this!
Friendly service and delicious food. I was shocked at how quickly they brought out our food! Bring in a baby and get a free high-chair plate: 3 side dishes of your choosing for your baby! I got the chicken fried chicken and it was the best chicken I’ve ever had. My daughter got the meatloaf and she said it was good. I highly recommend!
