Excell Restaurant

CAUTION!!! So disappointed in the food I received. I bought 2 plates of legume and diri koler today. The legume smelled as if it were going bad and against my better judgment, I tasted it and immediately spat it out! OMG it was disgusting! The rice had a bunch of soft black specs in it (no it was not gratin or cloves). Honestly, "One star" is too kind. I will NEVER return to this place again.

I just moved back to Delray, I knew the food was nasty but still gave it a chance. Rice 🤮 griot 🤢 everything is nasty. I gave the lady a 3 three dollar bills and a crisp $10 bill and one had a rip in it and she had the audacity to ask if I had another... lady the food is definitely worth that ripped $1 bill. 0/10 food was better in the early 2000s at the old location and even then it was nasty 🤮

Truly if I could give less than one star I would. The issue isn’t the restaurant nor the food, I go to Excell very often sometimes with my friends or alone. I’ve never had a problem with them and the customer service until recently I guess they hired a new unprofessional employee who’s focus is more on talking to the guys at the countertop whenever a female customer walks up to the counter she starts giving you dirty looks and doesn’t ask if you’ve been helped or anything she’s just staring straight at you and walking past you with no greetings and a stank look on her face and her tone is so aggressive when answering customers questions as a person who works in the food industry! that’s not good customer service at all, walking past the paying customers and not checking on them is not good

Horrible customer service.. I left the place bc I placed my order 30 mins ahead only to see the lady meaning worker give it to somebody else

I just bought two terrible plates of food, one goat and one turkey. They were flavorless and the service was a zero.
