Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Burlington

Ugh - just don't. This hotel is old; rooms have missing and broken light fight fixtures, sprinkler heads, tile. The front desk staff is unwelcoming, unhelpful and couldn't care less. The rooms feel dirty and its obvious the housekeeping staff is not properly trained and there is quality control. I am certain there are better choices in the area.

Despite some ongoing renovations on the first floor we had a good stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the beds were very comfortable. Some “even better ifs” include it would help if there was more children related channels on the TV and despite being told the pool temp was 82 degrees, it felt cold thus limiting our time in the pool.

Positive: The cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the bed and the size of the TV Negative: The breakfast at all of the Marriott properties I?ve stayed at is always been a variety for the breakfast at this particular location. There wasn?t a variety to choose from ..

Morning breakfast- water/juice machine broken. I don't drink coffee so I requested a bottle of water from the front desk. Woman in charge of the breakfast took me to the exercise room where I was shown the water dispenser and the small cones for the water. That's approximately 3 swallows of water and the cone won't stand up. Our room never received housekeeping services. No trash removal, no new towels, no bed made. I normally tip the housekeeper for their service but there was no service. Our family had 3 rooms. One of those rooms had non functioning AC during the hottest weekend of the year. When the front desk was notified they did give them a new room, however they told my family member that they had similar complaints about this room. Didn't fix it just gave the room to the next schle

What are the most comfortable beds I've had for a long 😴 The staff was great and very informative helping me find things in the area. Breakfast had a really nice variety. The room was spotless with everything and working order.
