Family and Friends is really great food! We stopped by on our way down to George Smith State Park and were very happy with the down-home country cooking. They have different offerings every day with a chalkboard menu, all served up cafeteria style - fried chicken, mac n cheese, green beans, pork chops, broccoli casserole, butter beans, and big hunks of cornbread or rolls, sweet tea, lemonade were on the menu the day we were there, and it's all very reasonably priced - family of four ate big meals for $40. A true meat 'n three experience. We got it to go, but dine in seems to be the preferred option. Highly recommend.

Great food at a great price! I had a Philly steak sandwich and it was so hot I could barely eat it! And that is a good thing!! The chicken and sides looked awesome and a steady stream of locals came through while we were there!

I never normally leave reviews at all, but this just had to be said. It was very unpleasant smelled so awful (smelt like sewage) when we walked in and saw bugs everywhere. Theirs no telling what the kitchen back behind looks like. Not to mention they wouldn’t let you use the restroom unless you bought something first🤦🏼‍♀️. We were planning on it but they don’t allow that you have to buy first. If you were sick and that was the nearest place to vomit they wouldn’t let you unless you bought something first🥲. I definitely would not recommend to my worst enemy. Not to mention staff was very unprofessional 🤢. So much for “Family & Friends” 😂

Absolutely wonderful people. And the crinkle cut seasoned fries were especially good . I’ve never had them before. Had bacon cheeseburger, fried catfish and shrimp. Everything was delicious and the staff were so darn kind. Will be back next time I’m in the area.
