Famous Jamaican Jerk Seafood

I ordered jerk chicken with no sauce w/peas and rice and cabbage. The 2nd tray was oxtails with extra gravy w/rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. The jerk chicken was straight off the grill seasoned and full of flavor. Oxtails were falling off the bone so good. The sides were even good. They get a 10 food was delicious 😋 We started eating before I can even take a picture 😂

The grandmother is always at the front with a slight attitude and the meat. Well the meat is nonexistent they fill the plate up with rice and peas, but they never filled the meat up even if you get a large oxtail you are better off, just purchasing your own oxtail and a pressure cooker. This will be the last time I go there I drive an hour to get there but no longer.

The food was dry and not good. I waited for over 30 minutes for cold food and presentation of food was awful ( plate covered with dry rice). This was my first and last time visiting this restaurant. Jerk chicken had no taste and was dry. The front counter lady was not friendly as stated by the last reviewer. Wishing for improvement!!

update 5-13 oxtail and curry goat combo and the fried fish with onions (first time trying the fish) delicious update..3-20-23 Ive visited at least 8 times within the past two years. The food is still delicious. I've tried the fish, jerk chicken, oxtail (almost always). But today was the first time trying the curry goat. It's tender and flavorful. It has a kick to it. Authentic cuisine 2yrs ago Bit spicy but love the food...they give lots of food too; great service

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS A MAJOR MAKEOVER. THE CHIC UP FRONT IS RUDE AS HELL AND NEEDS TO RETIRE.... THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE AND WHEN THEY DO THEY CUT U OFF MID ORDER TO FINALLY TEND TO THE POOR PEOPLE WAITING FOR SEVERAL MINUTES ALREADY AFTER BEING IGNORED UPON ENTRY 😒 DO BETTER
