Famulari's Pizzeria: Cane Bay

My husband and I decided to stop in here for take away. It was really good! We got the pep pizza and wings. We’re so glad we stopped in and this will definitely be our go to pizza place now. Update on my review! I got the lunch special with wings. I had my daughter with me and st the end didn’t have enough hands to carry her and the food. Brittany helped me by bringing my food to my car. It wasn’t expected at all but that customer service was incredibly appreciative! She also suggested the garlic butter wings and they’re amazing! So glad this is close to us.

So I went to Famulari’s ready to fall in love, because I’ve heard amazing things and I showed up hungry and optimistic, and like any intelligent, emotionally stable person, I started with dessert. Sweet zeppoles first, baby. Unfortunately, they came out a little undercooked, chewy in the middle like they were still thinking about their life choices. Not the worst, but not the dessert romance I was hoping for. Then came the fried cheese curds, and let me just say… hallelujah, praise the cheese gods. Crispy, melty perfection. These curds healed childhood trauma I didn’t even know I had. If you go, order them. Trust me. Then…the bruschetta arrived, and that’s when my evening took a turn. The tomatoes were so overripe and mushy I thought they were auditioning for a role in The Walking Dead.

The server was amazing! Manager not so much! Second time our order was messed up and the manager never even acknowledged the server did, but he did not. First time got the wrong pizza, Second time pizza was beyond burnt. Definitely need help in the kitchen with some management and the management needs management lol as far as the service dynamite!

We ordered a 14 inch Greek pizza. The flavor of the toppings was good but the crust was almost burnt. We ate it because we weren't going to wait another 30 minutes for another pizza. When we mentioned it to our server she was not surprised. She said some people mention that. Like it happens often. With the concrete floors and the decor the place seemed kind of loud. My wife and I had to speak up to talk to each other. We will go here again when we have more time so we can get a better pizza if needed.

Loved visiting this Famulari’s location! The chicken bacon and ranch pizza was delicious and my girlfriend loved the feta feta pizza! The atmosphere was open and comfortable with multiple tvs to watch the game.
