Fat Matt's BBQ

I won a smoked Turkey courtesy of Z93 The Rock Station and let me tell you... this was by far the BEST turkey I have ever eaten in my life. Even my husband who dislikes turkey could not get over how delicious and tender the white meat was. The stuffing was next level with the brats and complimented the smokiness of the turkey perfectly. Fat Matt's BBQ now has a customer for life!!

The Ribs were cooked perfectly and slid off the bones easily! Sides were good as well! Although the beans reminded me of bean soup more than bbq beans they were still delicious.

Enjoyed Fat Matt's BBQ food truck at Am Vets on Pine in Essexville. Hmmm delicious stuff!! Pulled pork, Brisket sandwich and Mac & Cheese.

Stopped by the food truck in Midland. Caught my attention cause the paint job on the food truck is beautiful. The ladies at the counter were super nice and sweet. I got a brisket sandwich only. Wanted Mac and cheese with it but not allowed to substitute the coleslaw and baked beans in the combo for Mac and cheese. I paid 14.95$ for a dry, cold, flavorless meat and bread sandwich. No real seasoning, not much of smoke taste either. and it was COLD. The meat and the bread were cold. The signature bbq sauce was ok. Drowning the sandwich in the sauce made it edible. Maybe they do better with their pork but I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone based on my experience.

Pulled pork sandwiches were cold. Waited for 10 mins as well. Not sure why we waited so long for them to just scoop them out of a unwarm pan or bag. Had good smoke flavor. But for $24 pretty disappointed for me and my wife.
