Customer Reviews
Great little place in Irvington area. Little wait, but definitely worth the 10 to 15 mins. Menue is full of breakfast dishes that scream to be tried... so will definitely come back next time I'm TDYing it in PDX. Had the CF Steak. Cooked as it should. Not a traditional country gravy, but let me tell you, one taste and its time to break tradition. A little heavy, and a nice size portion. Definitely if you're not traveling you will take home. Red potatoes...well im a snob so unless you know what good east coast sit on flat top ( peeps stop frying them) and cook breakfast home frys are...you will like these. Not bad, certainly better than most. Coffee was good, but in short supply. Service was friendly and first place in years that gave honest assessment of wait time. Thought for
Staff was friendly, service was fast, food was excellent. Was not going to write a review until I started eating my food, so here's a picture of our half eaten meals. The avocado toast has a nice sweet full flavor palette of hot honey and lemon goat cheese. Do not get me started on the chicken and waffles. The espresso martinis were excellent. Do not miss out on this small wonderful sweet slice of heaven tucked off the street. Will come again!
Fried chicken, blt, sloppy southerner. Fried chicken was tender with biscuit and home fries. Homemade ranch. Gotta try their homemade BBQ sause with a smokey heat. BLT was full of bacon, juicy tomato and tender toast. Sloppy Southern tender chicken thigh with bread and butter pickles that added a hit of vinegar and heat? A must try is their homemade strawberry lemonade. A must try!
Very cute spot for brunch. Food was delicious, and attentive service. Will be back!
I ordered a BLT (asked for crispy bacon) and it was good, except for the half raw piece of bacon on one of my sandwich halves. Something told me to examine my bacon, so I did, and I found the raw piece. I told the waitress and she shrugged her shoulders, said "okay", got an attitude and walked away. I wasn't blaming her, but she took it personally. I merely wanted them to be aware that they were serving raw meat that could potentially make someone sick. She later came back and asked if I wanted more pieces of bacon to make up for the raw piece. I told her "no thank you" and she proceeded to carry on with an attitude for the remainder of my time there. Had she apologized or said something to acknowledge the mistake and not caught an attitude, I would have accepted the mistake and moved on
