Fatbird

I cannot give enough praise to this place. I went today and had a Jerk Chicken sandwich with Maque Choux for a side and it was stellar! The sandwich was packed with flavor and spice (it definitely is spicy!!) And the Maque Choux was a great side to cool down my mouth. The atmosphere reminded me of a modern, but rustic vibe. Can't wait to go back and try more food!!

The word “ENTREE” the main course of a meal. "meat and fish entrées are served with your choice of pasta, house salad, or vegetable of the day" FATBIRD MAY WANT TO fix thier menu….. 2 pcs (ok we did get 2 small wings too) but even 4pcs of chicken for $23.00 is NOT an Entree. Wait staff dude was great tho.

I went here for an early dinner with my dad and we loved it. He got a Miller High Life and I got the Mint Revenant Martini, both of which were delicious. Then we ordered dinner: the chicken and waffles, and the fried chicken. Let me tell you, the place lives up to its name. They know how to fry a bird. The sides (collared greens, a buttermilk biscuit, and waffle fries) were all delightful, but the chicken was the star. I only wish I had thought to take another picture before devouring it! Absolutely worth the price, but be prepared to indulge. Worth trekking through the snow for!

Wow! Eating at the FatBird was refreshing. Everything was on point including the service. We felt welcomed and tended to the entire time. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was unique. From my drink to the apps to the entree we were excited for a new experience. I can’t wait to come back here and I will be telling friends and family to try this place out the next time they are down town south bend!

Loved it!! It's kind of unimposing from the exterior but when I searched it on Google, I knew it was going to be something glorious on the interior. It's exactly what you could think of when the food is described as Southern down home cooking!! I will definitely be back there and if your thinking about it then think more..... Just go, eat and be happy!! 😊
