Fatboys Crabs

We received 1/2 bushel of nice crabs. Check to see if they are previously frozen. We were given a wonderful 1/2 bushel of oysters.

UPDATE. 5/30/25. Once again, Fat Boys did not disappoint! Freshest, most beautiful seafood cases I have ever seen. Absolutely lovey ladies in the market as is the woman doing the great cooking. I think the staff is new and they are great. The shop was very clean and smelled fresh. Good sign in a seafood market!! Flounder sandwich and crab cake were outstanding. They had no crabs (out of season) but the steamed shrimp was moderately priced and delicious. We also bought shucked oysters for stew and crabmeat that became crab cakes

Pre ordered 1 dozen Extra Large Male on 9/7, $70/doz. Typically, Extra-Large range from 6.5" to -7". When I got them home, I measured them and found that only two of the twelve crabs actually met the 6.5" minimum. The rest were a mix of what would be considered large and medium sizes. I understand there can be some variation, but having over 80% of the order not meet the grade I paid for is unacceptable. Buyer beware. Go elsewhere!
