Nice looking place. I like the fact that they were open late. I think we went between 10-11pm. I got fried fish, Mac n cheese and corn. Only the fish was somewhat tasty. Seems like the oil was a lil old. The Mac n cheese was a 2 maybe and the corn was trash lol.

I was very disappointed with my food last night. When I got home I was looking forward to trying the food for the first time. My fish poboy was overcooked, bread burnt, and tomatoes soggy. My slice of cheesecake wasn't fresh. My fiancée fish was also overcooked.

I went here today to get lunch after 11:00. I had been here before and had a funnel cake dish I liked. Today it was bad. The floor was sticky, and you could see foot prints in the stickyness. The sanitation grade is only a 93.5. I ordered a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo. The gumbo was on the cold side and I noticed that there was what looked like specks congealed grease in the bottom of the bowl. I threw the item away after halfway finishing it and left.

I’ve been here 3 times. I wanted to give the place a fair chance before writing a review. But let me start by saying that each of these three times I have gone, this place has been severely understaffed. The three times I went, there was only one person taking orders, answering the phone, cooking, at the front, and cleaning. One single person. The food was never cooked properly. And there was always some kind of overcharge on an item as well as something being incorrect. The poor person doing everything is always sweating profusely because they’re doing 17 jobs. And it’s never the same person.I wanted to love this place. And I gave it three separate chances. Not only did I try three separate times, but I also went on different days of the week to see if maybe it was the day of the week tha

This place has potential to be great. We need a good southern faster food place in town. The floor though is always sticky, the service is good but the food decent. The cleanliness is a real issue.
