Fil-Thai is our favorite go to restaurant in Cookeville! We went there this time to celebrate something amazing Jesus did in our lives. Best Thai food in the area. We splurged this time and got the Tour platter. It had our favorite dishes, and it was so much food we had many leftovers. The Thai tea is so good! Crab ragoons are the best we've ever had. Don't miss out on some of the best food in Cookeville, and the service is always wonderful too. Portions are also huge. Thank you Fil-Thai for becoming our comfort food and the way we celebrate!❤️
Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my entrée at all. I have chicken adobo and pandit. I was disappointed with both. I lived next door to a filipino restaurant for years, so I was excited to get chicken adobo. It is hard to find in most areas. It was a letdown. The vinegar overpowered the taste of everything. The lumpia were tasty and, the server was very friendly.
Easy to find and it’s in a good location. The host/server was friendly but the other workers seemed inconvenienced by our presence. The place had an interesting selection for music; this is a Thai and Filipino restaurant and they are playing Hispanic music that one would expect at a texmex restaurant. I guess it was kind of funny. The food was the biggest disappointment, particularly the entrees. The lechon kawali was terrible. The best part of the dish was the green onions on the rice. Seriously was a 2/10; the pork belly was cold and seemed like it had been sitting for hours before being served. My wife’s dish, the BBQ skewer was decent. Maybe a 5/10. Our friend got the drunken noodles and they were slightly better. 6/10. The best part was the fried rice, I’d give it a solid 8/10. The l
Tasty food with HUGE potion sizes. I had the Pad Kee Mao and would recommend. Spice level 4/5 was tolerable if you like spice.
Me and my Wife have been loving Fil Thai for a couple years now and they still have proven themselves an excellent Thai restaurant! Allow me to elaborate... I ordered for take out a few weeks ago and asked them for zero spice (we don't handle spice well above 1). I grabbed the food and when I got home we started eating and our mouths were on fire. It must have been level 3 spice. I know so far this seems like a bad review, but here me out... I called them and let them know what happened and they offered us a replacement order free of charge. I told them since we live about 40 min away we wouldn't be able to pick it up that night. They said that was perfectly fine and that they would write my name down and when I'm ready I can come and pick the free order up. There was an ice storm for
