Fins Fresh Seafood and Po Boys

Yea, it was good. Not the best, but descent for a local market. Shrimp was breaded, fried, and seasoned well. Plenty on the sandwich. Most likely imported, frozen shrimp, but most restaurants are cooking them to keep cost down. Still taste fresh, and I understand. Only negative is the bread. More of a hogie, than traditional French bread. All in all worth a stop, and friendly service. Look

I know it’s rare for me to do this rating but they really deserved it!!! Southern small town dining at its absolute best! We are so picky on restaurants that cook Catfish in the same fryer because usually everything will taste like catfish. We called them to ask if they fry them in the same fryer And they said yes, even tho we were willing to give them a try. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed right away and made to feel comfortable and gave us the menu. We were “Hangry” 😁 at that time, so we ordered with our eyes instead of our stomach. No regrets tho!!! We ordered a bowl of Seafood Gumbo and Crawfish Étouffée and Imperial Stuffed Crab. This might be the best tasting shrimp Poboy that I’ve had even in Mississippi. The shrimp was large and plenty full. There is great flavor and seasoning to the shrimp and onion rings that I got. I highly recommend this place and would come back.

Chill little restaurant. We went for lunch and both ordered the shrimp po boys. A bit plain but I actually really liked it. Cooked perfectly and not greasy. The tables there were super sticky from the cleaner but otherwise great food.

We thought we would try somewhere off the beaten path that was not a franchise establishment. I got the roast beef poboy, and my husband got the fried shrimp plate. Both were delicious! The decor had a New Orleans vibe that was bright and fresh. Customer service was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend this place to others and try to make a return visit.
