Last time we will visit this location. For 1 as we walked in i stood at pick up counter while they guy with the long pony tail (not covered) ignored me. He was making another order when he finished and cleaned up then asks did you have a pick up. I said yes and he hands me my sandwich that was probably sitting there before i even walked in. My husband said so its been ready the entire time? He said all you have to do is tell us. Well we were totally ignored at the pick up. We stood for a while by the tables then finally sat down. He definitely saw us there from the start. Maybe if he acknowledged us when we walked in like every other Firehouse does we would have a warm sandwich. Great place! Amazing fresh hot made to order food! Always clean and fast! GM and AGM are the best!Food has never let me down. Definitely recommend the Italian or brisket! New fries & chocolate are also amazing! 🤤🔥

Uodate: 9/2024. The sauce station is back! Great place for a good sandwich. Super nice employees, my only complaint is the Coca-Cola machine produces the worst tasting Diet Coke ever! It's been like this since it opened so doubt it is a problem with an employee. Its a machine problem so I have to get another drink like Dr. Pepper but that is a lot of sugar! Anyhow great sandwiches!

I got a sandwich here 2 weeks ago and the cucumbers tasted like they were soaked in some sort of chemical. I got food poisoning for 2 days and when I made the manager of the store aware of this, they agreed that the cucumbers had something wrong with them and took them off the menu. However, they did absolutely NOTHING to make the situation right. I have contacted corporate multiple times and they kept saying the store manager or owner would call me and after 2 weeks now they haven’t. I’ve given them plenty of time to make this right before leaving a bad review. I’m a loyal repeat customer and love going here but this negative experience has made me not want to go back to this location. I had to take 2 days off of work because of the food poisoning and they won’t even refund the money from

In my opinion, the second best sandwich shop in Edwardsville. Would recommend the Firehouse Meatball sub, trust me, it’s Tasty
