Firehouse Subs Forest Lakes Shopping Center

Just the best sub shop there is. Sandwiches always come out hot, super tasty, and with a very generous portion of meat and toppings. Employees at this new location were kind and welcoming. Restaurant is clean and has a cool atmosphere with the firehouse theme. Highly recommend!

Firehouse is like most sub shops except they toast most of their sandwiches unless directed otherwise. The french fries are awesome and I recommend those as a side, some of the best I have ever eaten. Sandwiches are good and what you expect from a chain restaurant. There is a Coca Cola dream machine for the fountain drinks so that provides a nice variety.

I’m honestly disappointed with this location. I’m not sure what happened, but every sub we ordered was overly soggy and packed with more meat than the bread could reasonably hold. It just fell apart and made the whole experience messy and unenjoyable. There’s a difference between generous and unbalanced — this was the latter. The kids’ meal was even worse. The bread was over-toasted to the point that it was tough and difficult to bite into. Our kids tried several times and eventually gave up. That’s never a good sign. What makes this more frustrating is that the Firehouse Subs next to Staples is consistently much better. The only reason we tried the Seminole Trail location is because it’s closer to home. Lunch crew on 1/7 were working hard. My fries were forgotten on my to go order but the person quickly handled it. Give them props and thanks for the new store. Fewer seats than others, and it was quite warm in there today.
