Firehouse Subs Hickory

We ordered the chicken bacon ranch & carolina bbq. Would not recommend the carolina bbq at all! idk if it’s the meat or the sauces but it has a very odd flavor. The cherry limeade was okay, a little sweet. (it has no carbonation). the diet dr pepper had hardly any flavor was more like carbonated ice water. Like others stated there was a wait probably about 20 minutes. $30+ for 2 combos. Overall, probably would try firehouse subs again

I have not ever had a bad experience e here. I stop by for a sub about 2-3x a month. The subs have always been made exactly how I order them. Also, the are now offering fries with their hero sauce. They are very good fries... crispy, hot and seasoned perfect!!!

Service would receive 0 stars if possible. This is the only sub shop near me so I’ve tried multiple times. Every. Single. Time. I wait at the speaker to order for at least 5 minutes when there are maybe 3 cars in the parking lot. After waiting to order, i continue to wait 10-15 minutes at the window for the sub to be made and handed over. Quality of food has also declined since this location opened.

Listen, I know that for the most part firehouse subs is usually a little bit slower. At least this location always has been. I’ve never had an issue with my order being wrong. But this time I was literally sitting at the drive-through window for 15 minutes when the lady who took my order, came back and asked me “they still haven’t brought you your food yet?” So obviously, that was confirmation that they had forgotten about me. And this was after I had paid and gotten my drink. Five minutes later, a young man brings out a bag and gives me some chips that I did not order as an apology. I park because I’m starving and when I open my box for a small hook and ladder on wheat, it is literally just meat and cheese. No lettuce, tomato onion, mustard, or mayo. Bread was so soggy I couldn’t stomach my sandwich because they put the tomatoes on the bottom, waited almost 30 mins even though the place was empty. Paid $30 for inedible food.
