Firehouse Subs Lake City Village Square

Place was filthy. Toilets hadnt been cleaned in awhile, mold in the bathroom. Tables dirty. Everything looked dirty.Was hoping the food was great, and the $3 upcharge for a large fry, DISAPPOINTED! NO LARGE FRY..ALL THE SAME SIZE. EBEN THOUGH WE WERE CHARGED. Thought the food was okay until I got home. Stomach was messed up! Never again here! Yall nasty!

We ordered 2 subs on February 20th 2026. My husband ordered the smoked beef brisket and cheddar with BBQ sauce and I ordered the firehouse steak and cheese and neither of them had cheese on them. And it took 3 people to make them and still messed up the subs. They should do a better job than they do.

I ordered a medium NY steamer and a large order of fries. The sandwich .had no pastrami, mustard or italian dressing. Now I would've ordered the large sub but I wanted to try the fries. I get a phone call that the fry machine is down and offered me a 1$ cookie or 2$ brownie to replace my 5$ fries. Then the sub is the size of a hot dog bun. Which would've been great had i received my fries.

Not a very friendly person working the order taking station today. The food has almost always been very good but the Macclenny store beats Lake City hands down in every category!! The tables needed wiped off and all but one was empty. Overall good place for tasty food but employees could be friendlier!

So disappointing. The food was okay, but the tables and floors were dirty. (There may have been three or four of us sitting in the dining area.) The tables and chairs are past their prime. The sweet tea wasn't at all sweet. The drink area was a mess. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. The men's room was relatively clean, but there was no TP. It has one of those commercial dispensers that holds two very large rolls. Either they had a crowd of guys with serious GI issues, or they haven't checked the dispenser in days Firehouse is generally a good place to go. It's sad to see this location dragging down the entire chain.
