Firehouse Subs in American Fork offers great subs at great values. They always have deals on the web and have your meal prepared very quickly. The restuaruant is very clean and the staff is always friendly and willing to accomadate all your request.

Normally I don’t leave these kinds of reviews but I have to speak up. I ordered two sandwiches and mac & cheese. They screwed up both sandwiches. They didn’t take anything off I asked them to take off and they managed to not put on the extra items I paid for. Double screwup. Now, the mac & cheese. It was colder than room temperature and it was eaten 10 minutes after it was “prepared”. Not to mention the cup was only filled 2/3 of the way. (Had to microwave it and just give it to my kid, wasn’t enough to satisfy a three year-old) Again, I don’t normally leave these types of reviews but they literally screwed up every single part of the meal possible. I get people make mistakes like perhaps forgetting to heat the macaroni and cheese, but this is something I’d be very concerned about if

I was literally the only one in there, I asked for mushrooms added to my cheese steak which they didnt add, the sandwich itself came cold and watery, the bread already turning soggy even though it was ready in like 3 minutes and I opened it right away. Sad hospital cafeteria sandwich. So grossed out by the Luke warm watery meat.

This place was just sad. -The TV is up so loud you can barely hear to order. -The manager (older gentleman with grey hair and a red shirt) was constantly yelling at employees and belittling them. "Just get it right, its not that hard" he said, dude was being a prick. -One of the employees was eating bacon right off the line while making peoples sandwiches. -It took forever to get our food and they were not that busy. Only reason its getting a 2 and not a 1 is that the food turned out good.

I've been coming to this location almost every Saturday for a while now and my experiences have varied but this last one was the final straw. The bread was really dry (which means they are using old bread) and there was only meat on about half the sandwich (looks like they slapped a pre-portioned amount right in the middle and didn't spread it out (we got 4 total sandwiches and they were all like this)). Overall, pretty disappointing.
