4/5 but still a very nice breakfast/lunch that I’d recommend if your looking for a meal in the Ormond Beach area. Conveniently located right by the beach in a popular shopping plaza with ample parking. The food was tasty and the service was professional and friendly. I deducted a star cause the service was kind of slow, my egg Sammy was tasty but small, and they seated us right by the kitchen when there was only two other tables occupied. We were there around 2 after the lunch rush and still had to wait for water and our bill when finished. Not sure if that was a staffing issue but felt longer based on the low number of customers. Being an egg sandwich expert I found this one to be on the smaller size and made with a more petite egg. And lastly why the worst seating option in the far back

First Watch never disappoints. The food tastes incredibly fresh every time and the service has always been great. My hostess was especially graceful and friendly which made the visit even better. The avocado toast is excellent, the coffee is consistently good, and their juices are always incredible. A reliable spot when you want a bright fresh breakfast or brunch.

When he dropped the bill on the table, he didn’t say a word or even make eye contact—he simply walked past. I got to check out First Watch during their friends & family try-out before the grand opening and it was awesome! The food was fresh and delicious, and the vibe was super welcoming. Huge shoutout to our server Bridgette — she was amazing and made the whole experience even better! Can’t wait to come back once they officially open!
