First Wok Chinese Restaurant

We order from them all time, mainly for the egg rolls, most places I have found only do spring rolls when you order an egg roll. We also get the chicken and broccoli, general Chos, house lomein and fried dumplings, all very good! Not fond of the fried rice though, they use Yellow rice.

First Wok is one of the worst Chinese food experiences I’ve had in this area. I paid for a full meal and almost everything was disappointing. The fried rice was greasy and bland, with no aroma at all—tasted like old rice reheated again. The main dishes were flavorless, the meat was dry and tough, and nothing felt freshly made. Portions were small, quality was poor, and prices were not cheap. After finishing the meal, it just felt like a complete waste of money. Overall, the experience was bad enough that I won’t be giving it a second chance. I’d much rather go back to the sushi place and other Chinese restaurants near by harris teeter

Have been going to this place for years and loved it, last couple of times not to good but last night was horrible,got the combo beef and broccoli: meat was very chewy and fatty. Fried rice and egg rolls had no taste, hot and sour soup was way to spicy I mean way to hot. We always get it and think it’s the best. Not any more! We will start going to other restaurants in the area to find a better one. Which shouldn’t be hard after that meal

We have been looking for a good Chinese food place for a while now. Finally went here and loved everything we got. People were very nice spoke fast but very nice. Only complaint was the boneless ribs came in a paper container and juice was every where. Definitely will be going back.

Took me a long time to give this place a try. I think I read a few bad reviews and was turned off. Then one day my husband decided to give it a try. Oh boy, we love this place. Sorry I waited so long. I think there is a new ownership and they are doing a great job!! Their food is very good. The soups are great as well as the lunch menu items and ofcourse entrees are delicious and they are generous with the portions. Much better than the 2 other places I had been going to for a couple of years.
