I recently had lunch at Fish. in Sausalito, and it turned out to be a fantastic seafood experience. There was no wait time when we arrived, and the service was impressively quick without feeling rushed. The staff kept things moving smoothly, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, and everything genuinely impressed. The crab rolls were fresh and generously filled, with sweet crab meat that tasted clean and perfectly seasoned. Came here 8 years ago and remember very well my gf and I both disliked it, but given it's popularity we were hoping it was just an off day and gave them another try today and it was just as terrible. Consistently bad and overpriced tourist trap. We ordered a cup of clam chowder $8 and the fish and chips $24. Chowder was very mediocre, but I eat a lot of chowder and have high standards for it. Fish and chips was a total rip off. 3 small pieces of fish that are inflated by very thick, oily batter. We both agreed that the chips was the best of the 3 items. Really cool place to eat. Great views of the water and boats. Our food was not great. The fish and chips I would not get again. The chips were not the usual chips, but they were good. The battered fish was mostly batter not much fish and kinda grease soaked. Wife got the ceviche. She didn't like it. Was expecting more traditional with lime juice. I wouldn't go here again.

Friendly and helpful folks. All round nice place. You have to order first before getting a table. The whole time that I was there for lunch, the queue never stops. Fish and chips is a must try. You can give the tacos a miss though.

The seafood here is fresh. We have been here many times. The staff at the register was very helpful and patient. He gave good recommendations for both foods and drinks. Though the oyster is a bit pricey, it was fresh and yummy. Overall experience was 5/5.
