Best fish I’ve ever had!! You have to check out this place! Absolutely delicious, fresh and flavorful. We had a variety of fried fish with our family for Christmas Eve that my husband picked up (which was all fantastic) and he really wanted to take me there for lunch and I’m so glad we did!!! He got the mahi mahi fish tacos, I got the catfish poboy, we each got a soup and fries to share. Stellar food!!! We ended up sharing plates to try each others- the poboy was so crispy and fresh - delicious! The tacos were seriously outstanding- the cabbage was so crispy and fresh, the red onions were perfect and the fish was sautéed I believe- but it was mouthwatering!!!! Great fries! Fantastic. We have ordered from here quite frequently. Chase & Eli are excellent chefs. The Mahi Mahi Tacos, & Catfish Po boy are our favorites. This is soul food. It has heart. Stay true you guys. You’ll go far. 💪

New favorite spot!!! The fried fish was amazing. Can choose from battered or bread. Had a few different seasoning options. I had the Cajun and it was seasoned perfectly. Onion rings were decent. Not the best I’ve ever had but still good. Cole slaw could definitely use some improvement, didn’t have any flavor but I was there for the fish so I didn’t care too much. When it comes to fried food I typically like to eat at the restaurant otherwise it can get soggy. We did eat there but there’s not much seating as seen in the photos. & was difficult with a toddler because he had to sit on our laps. The owner did say he had more tables ordered so who knows what it looks like now… Owner was super friendly and great to talk with!!! Will definitely be back.

Found this gem through a Google search. I’m not certain how I didn’t know of this spot sooner being that my husband and I are “Foodies”. Both Louis and the young lady who served us were kind, professional, and provided great customer care. We enjoyed a great Po Boy sandwich lunch, and special ordered Barramundi a hard to find fish that we LOVE. Special order was in next day and we cooked it fresh same night. Hands down BEST fish we’ve ever had. The Barramundi was MARAVILLOSO in every way we’d hoped. From freshness, to quality, to cost. Excellent! We are definitely fans of Fishmongers and we’ll be back!

I'm so bummed I didn't stop in sooner! This is such an unexpected find, and I encourage all seafood fans to check it out. They have a great variety of fresh and frozen seafood, as well as an impressive food menu. And the best part is that it's local! (And you don't have to drive downtown and hunt for parking) We will definitely be back.
