Fitchburg Public Library, MA

The library recently relocated to Boulder Drive while their building is being updated and expanded. This temporary location is pretty spacious and most of their books, CDs, and movies are still accessible. There is also a room for children. They are now open regularly and you can go in to read or browse.

I have gone there for years. I always find the staff very nice and helpful.

The librarians were very gracious and accepting back a book I had mistakenly kept out an extra three months. The senior librarian was very helpful and finding alternatives to the book I was looking for which is not carried in the library system nearby. The new “temporary“ quarters are quite nice, maybe even nicer than the original!

Went to the temp library location not sure what to expect and it was a lovely set up! It's definitely giving vibes of temporary location like definitely library in an office lol still the storytimes are worth it if you have littles!!

The best public library in the area. Today I needed help adding the Libby app to my Amazon Fire tablet. A few years back they helped me install the Overdrive app. A young man helped me(he basically did it himself) install Libby app. Thank goodness for this service. Very kind and helpful people at Fitchburg Library.
