Five Guys

I visited Five Guys Austell on September 17 around 9 PM and this was one of the dirtiest restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I paid a little over $15 but walked out without eating because of how disgusting the store was. The drink station was already dirty, but when I walked to the waiting area, I was shocked — fries were all over the floor (piled up near the fryer), the grill looked greasy and unclean, and the milkshake machine was gross. Counters and work areas were a mess. I asked for a refund and pointed it out to the cashier, who said she was running the register and fryer while the other employee made burgers. But here’s the thing — I was the ONLY customer in the store. This wasn’t the result of a rush. From the looks of it, the mess had been there all day. Customer-facing areas

Came around lunch time. It was busy but the food was fresh. They have really good milkshakes. My only complaints is that the food is really expensive. 3 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 shakes was $70. We did wait for about 30 minutes so by then the milkshakes were done! lol

The burger was great, just way too expensive for me to become a regular. I spent $18+ for a burger($10.69) and shake($6.99).. I could have sworn I heard her say $10.74, so I gave a $20.75 expecting $10.01 change, instead I got $2.01. I couldn't believe the receipt. Overall: 8/10

1 star off for the soggy, limp fries... but that's how they always are at 5G. Food is otherwise always fresh, hot and delicious. Quick, helpful, attentive service. Atmosphere is always demonstrably clean. Food is pricey: >$20 for cheeseburger, drink and small (overflowing) fries. Appreciate the gratis roasted peanuts.

Ordered off Uber Eats and the burger was hot, fresh and appetizing. The fries were crispy and they were the best fries I’ve ever had at a five guys. Whoever made my food tonight needs a raise.
