Five Guys

Like many of you, I assume, you received a $5 coupon from 5Guys to use on/by 30 Jan only online. Wouldn't you know it, when I went to use it the system would not recognize it. I called the Newport News location to see if they could put it in for me and they could not and were apologetic about it. I went ahead with the order (Order ID#:AAAVYNF6ACDQ) and followed up with 5Guys Corporate HQ asking them to honor what they sent me. They replied with: "I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, this offer can’t be replaced or compensated for. I’ll make sure to note your feedback so the team is aware as we prepare for future promotions. Thank you for contacting Five Guys! Kind Regards, Five Guys". I don't know about you all, but $20+ (burger and fries) is a treat for a meal for

Biggest rip off, last time I will ever return to a Five Guys. I ordered 2 plain hot dogs, a grilled cheese, 1 regular fry, and 1 cheeseburger for myself and my 1, 3, and 6 year old kids. No drinks ordered, just water. $55! The amount of fries I was given was absolutely pitiful. I asked for a cup with a lid for my 1 year old to drink out of and was told I’d have to PAY for that, which I did not, so had to try to help her drink out of an open water cup. I feel sick I paid so much for that experience.

Everything was perfect. Fries were a bit salty though, take away 1/4 the salt on the fries and I think it would be 👌. Love the place though 5 guys never disappoints. As well 5 guys never scimps on the fries now! Let's Goooo!

Cashier wasn't the most friendly unfortunately. The rest of the 'guys' were friendly and cooked up great burgers and fries. Free peanuts to munch on while food is being prepared is fun. Inside was very cold, had to either take home or sit outside, which was a nice evening and sunset to watch. Tasty burgers and plenty of fries make a good meal.

Five guys is a kind expensive, and their fries are kinda soggy some times, but this place was absolutely bangin'. Best burger and fries I've had at any five guys. Super clean store, friendly staff, they had some kind hiring event going on and trying to balance work with that kinda stuff is hard. 10/10
