Flacos House

Great place to stop for a quick lunch. Although it was fast, the food was spectacular and real Mexican, very tasty. Service was great. We had the flaco’s bowl, Flaco Special and California burrito. Also tried the homemade Jamaica and Mexican Coke, all was great.

I went to the one on Argyle Street. The food is awesome. I don't know what Flaco sauce is that was put on my food, but everything I ordered was great. I had the Flaco Special and I ordered Cheesy Birria Plate and Beef Nachos for my wife. This is not a fast food chain like Taco Bell or Del Taco, this is real food. The girl at the front was very helpful and friendly. The place was one of the cleanest restaurants I have been to. After other guests were leaving, their tables were immediately cleaned which is rarely seen anymore. To say the least, I was very impressed. I will stop here if I come this way again. The artwork was cool also.

Overall, the food is great. Sometimes, it is excellent. Sometimes, it is good. I wish there was a little more consistency in the preparation... ie: about half the time my to-go food is missing all the sauces for the tacos. The quality of the food is better than other places for sure. The restaurant usually is a little bit too warm for me to stay and eat, but I live across the street so I don't mind getting to-go orders. Also, the smell of Fabuloso is pretty strong but at least you know they are cleaning on a regular basis. Staff is nice. Prices are great for the portion and quality.

This is the best Mexican place I've ever been to! I got the chicken quesdilla with cheese, and it was perfect! The crispiness of the tortilla with the warm and gooey cheese and with the amazing chicken all formed a symphony of flavor and wonder!

Food excellent allllll the time..... outdoor seating is nice during the nice weather. The Flaco Special and Jamaica are still my favorite.
