Customer Reviews
Excellent experience! This spot is located at the boardwalk with excellent views and a romantic outdoor patio area that views the boardwalk. The menu is well done, leveraging fresh ingredients with explosive flavors, and a true European-French style fare. Try the wood fired sourdough bread. The seasonal salad was to die for and the ragu gnocchi was made custom for me as a vegetarian and it was excellent. My son had the wagyu burger with truffle fries. He said it was amazing, well flavored and that the fries were incredible. We had the deconstructed chocolate cake as well which was delectable. The drink menu is excellent and their house sangria is awesome. The two bartenders were amazing, friendly and were great at helping me navigate the menu and what to try. This spot is clean, featuring
This restaurant is exactly what the Boardwalk at Granite Park needed! Flamant has a fabulous upscale ambiance. I enjoyed a nice, relaxing dinner on the patio.. Our server Diego was excellent. The Wood Fired Bread appetizer was amazing! Also enjoyed the chicken sandwich. It did not come with enough fries though. The Deconstructed Chocolate cake for dessert was definitely made for sharing. I look forward to trying other menu options next time.
I wanted to love this restaurant, but too many of the dishes we tried were just ok and weren’t served hot. I’m going to start with the Deconstructed Cake, which is the first picture. I have to tell you that it what it is because otherwise you would never know. Who would take a perfectly good piece of cake and literally crumble it up on a plate? It looked like someone ate it first then threw it up and served it to us. I was not impressed. It was dry and lifeless. The other menu items that some of us ordered were the Cacio de Pepe - it was pretty good, but really small, the Wagu Burger - just a burger, and the Spaghetti and Meatballs - the meatballs tasted like they were cooked rare, but when we asked they said they were cooked sous vide. They still seemed raw and too mushy to me and we co
They use this wood fire grill that makes all the food taste the same. The server told me it was supposed to taste like that and it brings out the flavors, but the flavor is burnt. We made salmon at home last night that was so much better, and not overcooked for $29. The salmon was also puny. Really wanted to like this place. The octopus was uneatable with the same char, also overcooked. Crab pasta was good. The also had a dip as an appetizer, that was the highlight. Drinks were also good but took forever, took 30min to get me a beer. Overall, not worth the high end price.
Came here for date night after hearing the chef was a James Beard nominee known for blending Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and French modern flavors—and it definitely lived up to the hype. We sat on the patio, which had the perfect atmosphere for an intimate dinner. Started with the muhammara (absolutely incredible!) and their wood-fired bread, then tried the octopus, wood-fired ribeye, and finished with the Crème Brûlée. Everything was delicious—the only dish that didn’t wow us was the octopus, which was just okay—but the rest completely made up for it. Their cocktail list is also impressive, especially the variety of espresso martinis. Highly recommend trying the Breakfast in Marseille—smooth, balanced, and the perfect finish to the night. We’ll definitely be back!
