Flavaz Restaurant

Flavaz is a good soul food restaurant but the way they handle orders is not deemed logical. First you have to place an order, take a number and wait for it to be called even if you’re eating off the hot bar. It doesn’t make sense to have to wait an hour (yes I literally waited an hour) on food if I’m ordering from an already prepared food bar. Then when I got my plate it was thrown together a the neck bones wasn’t done. The people are nice but they need to change their ordering process and food wasn’t up to standards today and I’m highly disappointed!

Came here for the first time & was impressed. The food was good & the "blue juice" was good (Kool Aid). Plenty of parking in the front. Place has plenty of seating & was well lit. Will def come back and order again. BAMA TRUCKER - ROLL TIDE

My two daughters one said 10 out of 10 recommend the other said you can actually see the pepper in the mac and cheese my girlfriendloved everything she had. We were greeted by three employees when we walked in Toya could tell we were first timers so she gave us the run down and Isaiah was very patient with us while we looked at the menu and ordered. The fries were amazing we all four didnt even speak while eating them to the very last one I had baked chicken mac and sweet potatoes the chicken was a little dry in some parts but it literally fell off the bone and had great flavor sweet potatoes you can tell weren't canned and they were amazing the mac and cheese was one of the best I've tasted outside of a home kitchen and thays so hard and rare to find for me toya made sure our food was rig

I’ve eaten at this place a few times. Let me just say this. The food is NEVER consistent! One day it may be ok the next it may be good the next you’re so mad you’re boiling better that the neckbones they serve , which I may add that have to be cut with a steak knife! I can say this and mean it! I wouldn’t eat there again if they told me it was FREE!! I ordered the neckbone plate again , 3rd time was it! Neckbones so tough you need a real steak knife to eat them!!! I don’t understand why ,they are sitting water under a heat lamp all day! Now let’s talk about the vegetables! I guess that they don’t know that there are other vegetables other than the ones they serve everyday!! And fresh ones!My God ! Best soul food I tried! Reallly loooove the pock!!! Definitely eat again! And The owner noticed we had a little one with us and, worried we might go hungry, generously brought us an extra serving of fried fish. It’s the kind of restaurant that truly warms your heart :)
