Flavors Caribbean Restaurant

One of my favorite spots back in the days. 10 years ago I was working on a construction project 5 minutes away and I would eat here every other day. Today I was in the area and decided to stop by for some fried chicken. I don’t know what happen to this place 😕 The breeding on the chicken was so hard and nasty that you literally had to peel it off just to get to the chicken. The pics I posted are not bones,that’s all the hard nasty breeding. Service was good 😌

Absolutely horrible! Food taste bad. The rice was like pudding. I grabbed a oxtail lunch special For about $17 that consist of 2 bones with meat and the rest were just little bones that you can barley suck on. The young lady was dry didn’t greet me! It makes since why the parking lot is empty. Expensive, disgusting and I do not Recommend this place.

Food is good but I mean you’re spending over $20 for an oxtail plate and only get three pieces they give you more rice and cabbage than anything but the food is good. Just would’ve liked more meat. I would’ve paid extra for more meat. Kind of disappointed.

I had high hopes! Ordered the jerk chicken for lunch but instead received a lot of bones with limited meat. I do mean very little meat on the bones! 🦴 When the package arrived, it was heavy so I was hopeful. Little did I know that the weight was because of the overload of rice and peas (which are delicious). Don’t think I’ll be ordered again ☹️🥺

I went here to purchase some Steam veggie and rice and peas. I saw they had Mac and cheese and got some to. He rung up my order and this plate down below came out to $20 and also he charge me .79 cents per scoop of oxtail gravy. Any Jamaican restaurant I have ever been to if they charge me per side order each dish come in a separate container. Does that look like 6 dollars worth of veggies? I think not,NEVER AGAIN. I dont have a problem spending money on food so I didn’t even argue and paid. But when I started eating the food was luke warm the steam veggie hard and not steam down. I should of just walked out 🚶‍♀️
