This is the best food I have ever had in my life. It really takes me back to my great grandmothers house on Sunday afternoon in the summer. The people were friendly and fantastic. I can’t wait to come back. We were visiting on a quick trip close to home and this was 1 of the highlights. The banana pudding is to die for along with all the Sunday soul food. Great job! Someone mention the service could be slow. My great grandmother took her time too that’s why it’s good and I’d wait forever!

Great find. Super nice staff. We had the Gouda grilled cheese with excellently seasoned fries, house salad with goat cheese, and I had a special of the day. Rice, collards, pintos and spicy fried chicken. Best collards and pintos I’ve ever had. Highly recommend

Probably the best food I have ever eaten in Rowan County! The fried chicken was fried to order and worth the little extra wait. The Mac and cheese was true authentic mac & cheese none of this creamy store-bought stuff. I want to congratulate the owner on an amazing job on the elite food cuisine! Will 100 percent be back many times!

I cannot recommend Fleeming Street enough! We were exploring Spencer; just outside of Salisbury, for the day and stumbled upon this wonderful place to eat. Its located right down town at the other end of the plaza from the sheriffs office. The atmosphere was calming and the decor contemporary.... I loved the wall of family recipes framed on the wall. Now lets get down to the food..... because it was OUTSTANDING!!!! Just to make things difficult for them we were a table full of epi pen users and severe allergies and the wonderful server and the chef took ot all in stride... but with great care to our needs. We were also approached several times to make sure we could have this or that..... The presentation was great, but the flavors were just wonderful, truly! The chef/owner as well

Food is unique and tasty and even though everything is cook to order, 40 min wait for an appetizer is rough. I think the menu is great but operations needs work. If there are more than two tables waiting on food, expect a long wait. Or order ahead and take out.
