Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

I can’t give them five stars on food because I’ve eaten at some of the finest places in New York, Chicago, & Vegas. For the Piedmont triad they are certainly one of the finer dining establishments. Service never disappoints. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic but sophisticated and classic.

Absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, inviting, and just upscale enough to feel special without being stuffy. The staff was on point—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about the menu. Now the steak… unreal. Perfectly cooked, seasoned like someone back there really cares, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. You can taste the quality from the first bite. The sides weren’t just afterthoughts either—everything hit the table hot, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Desserts were worth every calorie, and the whole experience felt like money well spent. Whether it’s date night, a celebration, or just a serious steak craving, this place delivers big time.

Wowza. Im stunned at the dining experience. This could end up my new favorite restaurant. Our salads, delicious. Our steaks, delicious. Our sides, delicious and our desserts, delicious. Not only that but V gave outstanding recommendations after asking about our personal tastes and never once did we have to ask for refills or new silverware. He's a professional waiter not simply waitstaff. My steaks are always prepared well done, my wife not so much because she likes them medium. Normally mine are a bit tough but always taste good. Tonight I received a perfectly prepared well done tender delicious steak. Couldn't be more pleased.

I had a good dinner. Sat at the bar, offered bread and water. Went healthy and had a wedge salad that was good, too heavy on the dressing. Tasted fresh and I enjoyed it. I had 11 oz fillet, it was medium rare but I ordered it medium, no big deal but was not as requested. Service was ok for all the bartenders was still not very prompt. Too many seats at the bar, was good when I got there but felt crammed. Bar was dark, tvs were far away and small. Not the most exciting atmosphere and overhearing neighbor’s conversation could have been prevented if less chairs. I came for quality over quantity, not too feel like a sardine. Not overly impressed.

The Fleming's staff was exceptional from start to finish. The warm greeting at the door, the gracious hostess who escorted me to my table, and my attentive server all contributed to a welcoming dining experience. The Thanksgiving prix fixe offered a choice of two starters: lobster bisque or one of two salads. I chose the bisque, which featured a tomato base—a departure from what you'd typically find at upscale chain restaurants. However, pieces of lobster and one small whole claw sat atop of the soup. For the main course, l could select turkey or one of two steak preparations, all accompanied by crispy haricots verts, garlicky stuffing, mashed potatoes, and whole cranberry sauce.
