We got there before the rush. Service was amazing and the food was authentic. The Scotch Eggs and the pineapple upside down cake was my two favorites. They also have billiards, darts, sports on tv, and other activities.
Drove in late on Friday evening after work; we were looking for a local restaurant. The staff greeted us immediately, we were able to sit quickly and enjoyed our food. We debated because there are a lot of good options. Everything was delicious and hot. We went authentic with Guinness but there are various options and also the restaurant is kid friendly; definitely a plus. Thank you guys! We will definitely be back and recommend!
We arrived around noon on Sunday and were the only ones there. We started with the Irish stew ($10.95), which came out piping hot along with 5 crostinis, which came with a $2 uncharged for extra crostinis. We ordered the Bangers and Mash ($15.95) per the waitress suggestion. Unfortunately, these Bangers never should have left the kitchen. They were hard and dry and seemed to be reheated, perhaps from the day before. We showed the waitress, she told the chef, and he said that's how they're served. Well, if you look at the picture of ours compared to pictures of others, you can tell this is NOT how they're typically served. We also ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage ($18.95), and, honestly, the Cabbage tasted like it had also been reheated. Anyway, the inhouse draft beer selection saved th
Great service with prompt refills, always checking in, which was nice, too! Fun and friendly atmosphere. The food was good but not the greatest... might be the time of hour (7-8pm) but seemed a little dry and almost out of heat lamp time. Overall a definite stop if you're in the area!! Remember, it's off the beaten path but they don't mind friendly new faces!!
Being new to the area I’ve been slowly trying locally owned restaurants. I drove past this place every day on my way to work, had seen some posts regarding their burgers. Decided to meet a new friend there for dinner because I’m craving a burger. It was delicious just what I’ve been looking for. My friend had a shepherds pie and was very satisfied. I have an order of bangers and mash to enjoy over the weekend. Had the opportunity to speak with the owner. Also met some of his family who are working and everybody was lovely. I tend to base my opinions on my own experiences not other people‘s. I will be back as well, my new friend who has lived in the area for a very long time and had just never been there.
