Flight 102 Wine Bar

This place has evolved over the years. They’ve gotten rid of the high tops thankfully and made it easier for us older people to have a nice meal in addition to wine and other libations. Alessandro does a magnificent job in the back of the house cooking very creatively. The service is always courteous and helpful. I guess because of our schedules we don’t eat here as often as we’d like. But we really love the food. We have to go back a couple of more times with new ownership to get a full flavor of current offerings.

Great dining experience! Perfect evening for dining outside. We shared the Truffle Parmesan Fries; so good I could have made a meal out of just that and a glass of wine. The risotto (forgot to take a photo) was amazing, and hubby loved the sea bass. Went inside after dinner for a drink at the bar. Couldn't ask for a cozier warm atmosphere. It's perfect for a date night or a friends' get together. The staff and service was wonderful - a five star experience!

First time here. Bacon wrapped dates were great. Service was excellent. The salmon was my favorite, done perfectly in my opinion. Other reviewers mentioned high prices but I found them to be inline with other establishments that are similar to this one. Atmosphere was a comfortable place to enjoy our friend’s company.

Pros - food and service were up to par. They do take reservations. They offer 2 private rooms for a more intimate setting. Cons - my martini was lacking. Highest shelf vodka they have is Titos. I often oped for Kettle or Ciroc. While I understand this is more of a wine atmosphere, by having a bar, traditional cocktails should be available with elevated options.

Visited over weekend, third time in year. Since new owners took over, it’s not the same. The slot machines, bad move. Pricing is high and I don’t mind paying for good food, but give the portion size. This is Bourbonnais, stop saying “high end”. Bring back the relaxed days, a glass of wine, no pressure at bar and prices to keep people coming back weekly. This was my spot when I traveled here for work and sadly, I go elsewhere now.
