Florida Cracker Fish Company

We stumbled across this restaurant and it was such a delight. All of the food was delicious! My favorites were the blue crab dip, Mac and cheese, fried catfish and the broccoli corn bread. My daughter loved the kids cheeseburger. They have a full bar, outdoor seating with live entertainment and a playground for the kids. They even have a gift shop that had merchandise and seasonings. Everyone loved it. Adults and kids!! You order your food at the counter and then it is delivered. Be prepared to clear your own tables. A little different but it’s ok with us.

Was in Tampa overnight. Since Grouper is a big thing here and I love it ... saw online that the restaurant was in the top 10. A very short Uber ride ... and damn the Grouper was amazing. Then they had this cornbread with Spinach and Cheese ... OMG . Clean, friendly and a bartender that listens. Very good. 👏🏽

WOW, we finally made the trip and it was so worth it. The shrimp and grits with the tomato gravy were delicious, cracker omelette spot on. I was pleasantly surprised with the loaded grits and biscuits and gravy, very savory and seasoned well. I only wish they were located closer, we would definitely be regulars.

This was our first time here! It’s a seat yourself, order at the counter restaurant. Everything we got was awesome! The only thing that wasn’t up to 5 star standard was my chowder wasn’t really warm and the sauce bar to me was ew lol. (My kids like it tho) We had the crab cake balls (my favvvv) Grouper po’boy, grouper sandwich, shrimp basket, gator basket, Mac and cheese and collard greens. Everything was awesome! We will be back!

This is part of a chain and you should know before you go that they dont have waitstaff instead electing for a counter service situation. You cannot open a tab for food you pay as you go and the service experience was quite disjointed. There was live music which was nice but the dining room was way too bright so we sat in the bar area. We ordered a 1/2 lb of shimp but they teenager at the counter said it was a lb of shrimp not sure what that was. Oysters were good but if you can make it in 2pm-5pm on a week day they have $1 oysters and $2 beers not that most of the population can make it in from 2-5 on a week day.
