Florida Department of Health in Marion County Belleview WIC Clinic

This is the worst wic office. You’ll sit on the phone for (and I’m not exaggerating for a second) 15-20 MINUTES before you get someone on the line and when you do the ladies there are always so lazy and rude. I ended up getting more help calling the state office rather than local. I’ve used this location for a year and it’s a nightmare to get anything done or to even ask a question. I also called days ago to get my info faxed, the lady tried telling me to do it myself, that she was too busy to do it today and will tomorrow, just to follow up almost a week later and it still hadn’t been done, even though it’s literally how I feed my baby.

I couldn’t get WIC even I took my day off for it.they said we make too much money.do you know why I have 4 jobs? bc we struggling. My husband is military.he work for the country but this country never help us who saving country.this is so sad!!!

The customer service people are very rude. They have you on hold for hours and then cancel appointments due to short staff. Then they don’t try an accommodate you when it comes to rescheduling the appointments. Then when you request a manager they will hang up on you. Was on hold 1:00:59 before they answered and my appt was at 8:45 via phone and she then says I will have to see if I can still do an appt. Because the appointment was at 8:45. WHEN THEY NEVER CALLED ME I CALLED THEM AT 8:46

If it was possible to give them 0 stars and still leave a review i would. The women that work here are HIGHLY unprofessional. They talk about you in Spanish to eachother right infront of you assuming you wont understand, and when you call them out on it they lie right to your face. They are impossible to get on the phone. They argue with you about everything and are just grossly unprofessional. The supervisor of this location should be EMBARRASSED that her employees are this out of control and unprofessional. If you have the ability I highly suggest you make an appointment with the Ocala location. The women there are so friendly and helpful and worth the extra travel time. I truly hope the Summerfield location gets better employees or shut down altogether.

Super unprofessional. Will definitely travel the extra miles for the Ocala location. Brought my 2 yr old son & newborn daughter the Spanish lady in the first room that takes your weight, height, etc thought it was okay to snatch from my son then yank him out of the chair.
