Florida Department of Health, Martin County - Located in Stuart

I accidentally parked in an employee designated space when looking for parking, At the time, most of the lot was empty and the department was still open. Two employees outside, appearing to be smoking and chatting, spoke negatively about me within earshot instead of addressing the situation professionally or minding their own business. The conduct could have been handled better.

Had to move. There staff are not clear english speaking. I dint even know what my doc was telling me. Had to move to get proper health care. I recommend no one that speaks English to go here. Got to the ER 1st not them

I came in this morning at 8am and spoke with Audrey. Told her what form I needed for my daughter’s school. She had me taken care of within minutes. She was a pleasure to work with and I appreciate her smile as she handled my questions. Thank you Audrey.

We have all read about the frustration involved with getting COVID vaccinations . My wife and I would like to share a different perspective. We called the Martin County hotline on its first day. It did take a number of calls to get through, but we were ultimately able to leave a message. A very nice woman returned our call on Sunday. She confirmed our ages and Martin County address then scheduled our first and second vaccinations. On Friday morning we drove to the Health Department. We were greeted by very pleasant, very efficient Health and EMS workers. Within 15 minutes we were vaccinated. We waited the mandatory 15 minutes for observation, all while never leaving our car. Each person we encountered finished our conversation with “Have a happy vaccination day!l”. How very fortunate we

I took a neighbor to get her booster shot...She was seen immediately as per her scheduled appointment. I had questions related to another friend's concerns....I was given specific , detailed instructions and paperwork needed. I found the personnel to be competent, efficient and caring ....
