Florida Sportsman Magazine

I live in KY and have subscribed to Florida Sportsman for many years. I've never had any subscription or delivery issues and love the magazine. Contains so much useful and interesting information. Very interesting advertisers as well. I eagerly look forward to every issue.

Magazine is just OK at best. Florida Sportfishing is 10 times better. Florida Sportsman Digital access seems impossible. How about a sign-in link on your webpage. Spent almost an hour trying to get digital access, without success, after verifying my account numerous times. Blair Wickstrom should keep his uninformed comments to himself. Recreational overfishing and recreational by-catch loss is seriously depleting our saltwater fish stocks, especially reef fish. Too many people chasing too few fish. Even worse, most recreational anglers don't know how to properly handle and release these fish. So, by-catch loss is estimated in the millions. Recreational seasons must be shortened, not lengthened. Your March 2022 issue ,article on Little Talbot Island it was said you launched from the camp site ,they have not aloud this for quite a few years now, called them up and was told no cannot launch from there as a day visitor. Would hate to see other kayakers get there only to be told Sorry .Might want to fix that .Thanks for the great mag .

As a Floridian now since 1990, after leaving northeastern North Carolina Outter Banks area. I think that the Florida Sportsman Magazine and Boat Magazine is the best hands down information you can get for the Great State of Florida fishing and boating. Just keep on doing what you are doing and I will be a customer for life. "Godspeed"
