Customer Reviews
I almost don't want to review this brewery because I want it to stay a hidden gem! I hadn't heard of Fluvial before, but when I saw it pop up on the map while in the area I knew I had to check it out. I'm so glad I did -- it's gotta be one of my favorite breweries in Maine. Definitely top 5. The views here might just be the best in the whole state. You get stunning mountain and hill views, which were especially beautiful during our fall visit. There's plenty of outdoor seating with tables, chairs, fire pits, and even some covered spots. The indoor space is small but cozy. The beer pours were fantastic. The menu was a bit limited, but there was something for everyone. Their NEIPA and DIPA were incredibly smooth, and my partner said his pumpkin ale special was amazing. They also offer food,
Recommended by a friend, rode here on motorcycle, paved backroads 👍. Beers were good, i tried 2 pale ales that were great. and wife had peanut butter stout she liked alot. Small snack food list, pretzel and cheese was yummy. Nice place to sit outdoors with a nice view. Live music was nice when we stopped. Awesome staff! Will be back again. I am surprised dogs on a leash are not welcome outdoors though.
A really rad spot that's tucked away from town. Large outdoor seating area with a nice vista for views. Beer was excellent and I even took some cans home with me. Something to keep in mind is that the available indoor space is pretty small - wasn't too busy when I stopped by but I could see it filling up fast during busy times.
We love this spot and decided to take Flats Stanley here on his world tour. The beer is always solid and they always have a cider option. The taproom is small but warm and welcoming. The outside overlooks some mountains complete with fire pits and picnic tables. There’s also a yurt that has live music and a gas stove for heat when it’s chilly outside. Highly recommend!
After hiking the whites, we were looking for a new place for a beer on our way back to Portland. We stumbled upon this brewery using Google maps and are so glad we did! My partner is a fan of IPAs and enjoyed the low ABV and flavor profiles. The S-Turn was our favorite! They offer flights, which is great to try a few options in a new place. The intimate taproom is in excellent condition and looks brand new. There is plenty of outdoor seating with comfortable Adirondack chairs and breathtaking views of Maine's countryside. Looking for a fun activity, they also have plenty of yard games. Note, the parking lot is larger than you think. Don't see parking? Keeping driving to the left of the taphouse, there is a large lower lot.
