Went there for lunch just to grab a quick bite. When we walked in, we were blown away by the decor and how cool it was. The food and service were spectacular and we would definitely go back again and highly recommend for anybody to try this Restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
My family and I regularly go to Foo Lam for dinner. This place has authentic Cantonese style Chinese food that both me and my sister (27, 28) and our parents visit. We ordered the steamed free range chicken and for people who don’t visit authentic Chinese restaurants regularly, they serve it WITH the chicken head for good luck (Chinese superstition) which was served with a garlic sauce. The honey walnut prawns is a must! The sauce is not too citrusy and doesn’t have too much breading. We tried this eel stir fry for the first time and it was delicious! The goose is so flavorful and the fish was cooked just right so it was super velvety.
I like being the only person who does not speak Chinese in the restaurant. I had my lifetime best ever & easiest to eat Chinese Style chicken feet at Foo Lam today, 1 October '25. It was the best $6.00 I've spent on food in Seattle. The shrimp & leek dim sum was also very good. My guess is that the rest of the items on the cart that I did not try are every bit as good.
I wanted to give a new place a try so my family and I made a sizable order to try a variety of items(general Tao’s chicken, honey chicken wings, salt and pepper chicken, green beens. Honey walnut shrimp, steamed rice, green onion chicken, Singaporean fried rice noodles, a variety of items). The biggest surprise was the green onion chicken. 🐔 it actually had the head in there. I didn’t expect that. There was a lot of breading on the generals chicken and the honey chicken wings. I didn’t like the honey walnut shrimp at all. I was most excited for the green beans but they were also underwhelming, but good. The rice noodles were flavorful but I wasn’t sure about the meat. I realize that this review isn’t favorable, but it’s my true experience. We spent a lot of money to not at all be satisfie
This place has the best lobster over noodles in all of Seattle and maybe even better than some places in Vancouver. Lobster is pillowy and succulent never over cooked the consume over the noodles is not salty bu still has a delicate Lobster flavor. Price is reasonable and sometimes they have great live seafood specials.
