Food Court of CHOP Main Hospital

My wife and I were in with our son for around two weeks and relied pretty heavily on the hospital cafeteria for our meals so we didn't have to leave his side - the food was pretty great all things considered.. and the cost was not terrible at all. There were plenty of options, friendly staff, and the hours were fantastic!

Considering it's a hospital, it isn't hospital food. The atmosphere was enough to get my screaming nephew to chill out and stop making a scene so that was awesome. It was very busy but not chaotic. Staff was very forgiving and considerate. (It was clear the kids weren't having it, it was a rough day) French fries were 10/10. Grilled chicken was good.

The food court is nice to look at, but I wish the food had a better flavor. It's more like pepper is used to fake out that there isn't any other flavor. I am not a fan of a lot of pepper but I even tried the breakfast potatoes and I couldn't eat them ,all pepper. They have for a limited time roast beef sandwich that looks good but it's all pepper. There's a salad with balsamic vinegar and they put chicken in it that's good, in all fairness I have not tried everything I was there for 2 days with my son. Everyone especially the cashiers are all kind and have a wonderful smile and are eager to help.

Typical hospital cafe food offered at a fairly reasonable price. Delicious but expensive options from various vendors daily. Excellent salad bar with the Good Ranch! (Pictured Chicken Curry - $11.99 with Naan $3. Pork Nachos - $11.99. Steak Tacos - $9.99.)

Wide variety of food, well organized, and very clean. They have a deli, salad bar, Asian cuisine, pizza, Mexican, hot grill food, and a couple specialty counters that change with the time of the day. Large searing area spaced out well and ventilated for extra safety. Its not your average boring tasteless hospital cafeteria, the food actually tastes good and doesn't break the bank.
