I’ve been a loyal customer of Food Lab since they first opened, and I’ve watched their food quality and customer service steadily decline over the years. What used to be one of my favorite local spots has now become a disappointing experience—repeatedly. On my recent visit, I ordered my usual breakfast sandwich, but with a slight change—I asked for it on a hero instead of a roll, and as always, I requested extra cheese (something I’m very particular about). When I got home, I was shocked at what I opened: a dry, overcooked sandwich. The eggs were burnt and crusty, the sausage was dry, the bread was hard, and worst of all—no extra cheese, which was the main thing I asked for. It's a convenience store with a serviceable deli. There's not much else in the neighborhood except overpriced restaurants so I use this when I don't want to cook. I know that prices are going up everywhere but lately this place has begun to feel expensive. For breakfast--get the French toast platter.

I ordered a Wild Caught Salmon over rice. The presentation on photos on their site looks promising. But when I got my order, it was in a small container, with the veggies all up in there, no onions, no hot sauce. and the Salmon mashed up!!! Use a bigger container next time and don’t mash up the fish!! Won’t order again!

I came here often because I live down the street. I ordered sandwiches when I needed a last minute meal. Almost every time I’ve ordered, they either got my order wrong or made a skimpy sandwich. The prices for what you actually get in terms of meat are horrible. I took several bites of bread with nothing in it. Cheap, miserable, and inconsistent service in terms of food quality.
