Formosa Cafe

Visiting Formosa Cafe became the highlight of my week! The owner herself, Judy, welcomed me and my family to try some delicious snack and tea samples. Her passion for and knowledge of her products was electric, as she shared cool facts and history behind each treat. The selection is fantastic, offering a great variety from China, Japan, and South Korea. If you're looking for a delightful snack and/or sip, try Formosa Cafe today.

Formosa cafe is a new addition to the san Antonio strip mall that offers a large variety of Asian snacks and drinks including some very tasty jelly cakes made by a local! The owner Judy was very passionate and kind offering my group many samples including some home brewed teas while explaining all about the cultural differences between American and Asian teas. We could not help but purchase a few of the snacks we sampled as they were very tasty and Judy's kind and passionate demeanor played no small part in that decision! If you find yourself in the area do stop in for a yummy snack and a fun and informative interaction!!

I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon this slice of warm hospitality. My friend and I were treated to various samples of egg custard, bbq pastry, and delicious oolong tea. We bought a bunch to take home, plus a jelly cake. The establishment's owner was exceptionally friendly and described her offerings in perfect detail. We'll be happy to keep coming back for more.

A wonderful little Asian snack/drink market! The owner Judy is so friendly and kind. She offered many samples and even would open some snacks for us to try. A must see stop if you're on this side of town!
