Customer Reviews
Absolutely amazing the park opens at eight and it is absolutely stunning. Amazing walking hiking trails super bathrooms a bunch of park benches a lot of places to sit between the trees and park benches right along the beach, beautiful rocks, beautiful sand probably one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been to. I highly highly recommend you going and checking it out very family kid orientated handicap accessible you will not be disappointed I can promise you that. The beach itself is a little rocky or big shells so parts of it walking can sometimes hurt your feet but for the most part, it is absolutely breathtaking.
Fort Zachary Taylor Beach is simply amazing! The water is crystal clear and turquoise, there are picturesque palm trees, and you can see fish just 10 meters from the shore. It's quite quiet and clean, despite the large number of people. And even then, they arrived closer to 12, at 9 the beach was empty 😍 We were very lucky with the weather: scorching sun, but at the same time +22 degrees Celsius, and the water was about the same temperature as the Baltic Sea in summer, so we swam to our heart's content 🌝 The only thing that spoiled the impression was the only cafe with a terribly unpleasant guy who took orders 😤 So next time I would bring snacks with me. We paid $7 for two people and parking. In general, we give this beach a big thumbs up 😌
Fort Zachary Taylor was such a great spot to spend the day! The mix of history and natural beauty makes it one of the best places in Key West. The fort itself is fun to explore, and the beach area is perfect for relaxing, swimming, or just taking in those amazing views. Plenty of shade, clear water, and a laid-back vibe that makes you want to stay all afternoon. If you’re looking for a beautiful beach with a touch of history, Fort Zach is absolutely worth the visit!
Excellent park and the beach is good to swim I totally recommended if you like nature , silence and swing in the ocean !
