Absolutely amazing! Hands down the BEST sandwich I've ever had! And that's saying something! I travel a lot for work, I had the Egyptian Egyptian and it was by far the best sandwich I've ever had, paired with the cider (at the owner's suggestion) and I am still blown away. I wish I lived in the area so I could have another sandwich! The music, the atmosphere, OMG the FOOD!! If you're in the area you must give this place a try! Both meat and non meat options!
One of the best turkey sandwiches I’ve ever had! They also have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The owner was super nice, and the wait was about 20 minutes, which felt super reasonable knowing he’s the only one hand-making every sandwich.
The BLT really is the very best, certainly the best one I've ever had. Diligently made with the ingredients perfectly distributed throughout the sandwich. The shop is full of art, which was lovely to admire during the wait for my meal. I had a great conversation with the sandwich artist and it was overall an excellent visit.
A really interesting selection of sandwiches you won’t find anywhere else. They’ll customize for you as well, and can make some vegetarian sandwiches vegan. It’s in a kind of cozy, funky basement space. Keep in mind it’s cash only (an ATM is onsite) and check the hours - it’s open Thu- Sun only.
Why are the best sandwiches always the messiest? I got the eggplant pesto and I swear it’s probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Juices / condiments were dripping down my hands but it was finger lickin’ good. Like most of the reviews - yes service is slow. One man show and a master of the sandwich craft. Go in with an open mind and open schedule. You probably won’t go wrong with anything on the menu but prepare for it to take a bit, especially if busy. Everything from scratch & so delicious. Wish I can these closer to home, I’ll be thinking about it for a while!
