Four Js Big Deli llc.

It was a nice store with nice service but the sign outside said they accept EBT & I came to the counter & he said they don't & I bought 3 drinks for $10 when I could've gone somewhere else to get them. I don't feel comfortable with the brown nosing & cat calls. Don't call me momma unless you want my milk & don't just say that. Idk

Love this place! It’s the heart of the neighborhood. Everyone comes here for coffee, snacks, great food, and essentials! The owner is a great guy and everyone he has working there are really down to earth and nice. Out of all the neighborhood bodegas you can choose from in the Hill, I recommend 4 J’s 100%!

I give it five stars but sometimes the customer service from the women they're a little bit crabby the gentleman though are always friendly and smiling.

UPDATE: F.B.I. and local New Haven police raided Four J' s at the beginning of June 2024. They confiscated truck loads of items from inside the store. Gates have been down and locked ever since. Ridiculous small, drug addicts outside begging, copping ,and buying drugs. Too many shootings In Front of store. Over priced. No EBT. Ppl hang out in store when there is hardly any room to even move. Basically a place to buy snacks, blunt wraps, drug paraphernalia, and cigarettes. Only plus is they stay open late. Update: Grabbed a few things here late night because nothing else was open. Unfortunately I didn't look at expiration dates till I was already home. I try to get in and out as quickly as possible.
