I was searching for a gluten-free place near me as I traveled a little further north than I usually would go. My breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Honestly, I didn't want an overly huge feast, and so the selections I got were naturally perfect. You can tell by the portions and the presentation that food is top tier. The sausage was cut, cooked thoroughly. The gluten free bread they had displayed a great non-cardboard type texture, probably containing egg (I usually like those types more). I loved the hazelnut sugar-free coffee I got. I adored the local art, books and especially the overall inclusive cozy ambiance with the fox drawings, LGBTQ flags, and friendly staff. The gentleman managing this place is very down to Earth and personable. This is not some huge, drawn out diner with a ten
Ate breakfast here this morning. It wasn’t busy so we were first at the register. The cashier was very friendly and informative. We ordered two breakfasts, two pastries, and two drinks. The total was $50 and I think that was a good price. The cook brought our food out and my sweet potato bowl had balsamic vinegar drizzled all over it, which was NOT listed on the menu and I can’t have vinegar. The cook took my food away when I tried to explain I couldn’t have vinegar and walked away without saying anything. I went up to the counter and told the cashier about what happened and she said she would handle it. She came over to our table and explained that the cook wasn’t upset, just nonchalant which, why have someone interacting with customers when they don’t know how, but she also let us know t
This place is an absolute gem. It’s small, maybe 7 small tables? It’s charming, cozy, and full of character. You order at the counter, grab a number, and find a table while they bring the food to you. It’s a relaxed, no-frills setup that works beautifully if you’re not in a rush. If you are, just be prepared to wait a while when it’s busy When we arrived, there was a long line, but the staff member taking orders was incredibly patient and thorough, walking each guest through the menu with care. It made the wait longer, but it also showed how much they value each customer’s experience. Food: I started with a cup of soup (crab corn chowder) that was piping hot, fresh, and generously portioned—plenty to share with my daughter. The fried pickles came with an aioli that was very very good. (We
Hi!! I absolutely loved this place! My family and I went after visiting the Shrine of St Anthony and it was just a perfect lunch spot! My mom got a soup (I’m sorry I can’t remember), my brother got a burger, and I got the most delicious citrus and avocado salad with salmon!! We picked this spot because my brother wanted a burger but since he was sick the day before, I knew he needed something hearty but not oily that would hurt him. We are so happy to have picked this place because the burger did him so well! He hadn’t eaten and kept something down, but the quality and freshness of the meat and all the ingredients were wonderful! My salad was so delicious! I decided to try something new and I am so happy I did! The grapefruit and lemon wheels with the house made dressing and the fresh vegg
This review’s a little overdue, but we had an amazing time at Fox & Barrel Farmhouse back in May. The vibe was relaxed and inviting; rustic in all the right ways. It was quiet for a Friday morning, and the space feels like the kind of spot you could easily hang out for hours. They also have a big outdoor seating area that looks great for events or gatherings. Food was excellent across the board. Between the four of us, we ordered a breakfast sandwich, French toast, a breakfast bowl, and some chicken wings to go, along with four bottles of water. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The total came to around $75, which felt more than fair for the quality and portion sizes. Service was top-notch. Eitan took great care of us and really added to the experience with his fr
